Dr. Kathie Allen to speak at Utah County Rally on Healthcare
Cottonwood Heights, Utah – May 26, 2017 – Dr. Kathie Allen, Candidate for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District, will be speaking at a Provo, Utah Healthcare rally on Saturday, May 27, 2017.
Sponsored by “People Power Utah County,” Dr. Allen will be joined by Darlene McDonald, candidate for Congress in the 4th Congressional District and James Singer, candidate for United States Senate. Speakers will address our country’s healthcare system and the recent passage of the American Health Care Act for America (AHCA).
“As a family physician who has practiced in Utah for over 30 years, I found the AHCA to be a disgraceful piece of legislation and I would have never voted for it. Shame on Utah’s four representatives, who voted for something that will severely harm the health and lives of so many families in Utah. They are clearly out of touch with their constituents. It’s time for new leadership from Utah, it’s time to replace our representation in congress, and it’s time for congress to grow a heart and pass legislation that works for all of us,” Dr. Allen said in a statement.
